This Is Porn on Crack
So says "local activist" Phillip Cosby of the rash of porn "superstores" that are "popping up all over rural America." Sounds like it might be fine time for the AofG crew to take a road trip and get some first-hand knowledge of what's causing all the fuss. But before we even make the trip, I'm thinking that my response to the whole deal would be something along the lines of this fellow's:
"This store is sitting out here all isolated, not bothering anyone. Why should anyone bother it?" said truck driver Herbert Fulson, 45. "If you don't like it, don't come in."
However, as I've said before, I am open-minded, and since Mr. Cosby feels the "superstores" illustrate that "there's no end to the depravity", and since certain protesters have raised nearly $5,000 in a single day to put up a billboard outside one store declaring "Pornography Destroys Families", I'm thinking that perhaps the issue needs some closer, in-person examination. Who's down?
