Was The Election Stolen (Update)
We first chimed in on the possibility of election fraud here. Well, it turns out evidence is mounting that votes may have been hacked in favor of Bush. For example:
"In Baker County, Florida [where Diebold machines were used] ... with 12,887 registered voters, 69.3% of them Democrats and 24.3% of them Republicans, the vote was only 2,180 for Kerry and 7,738 for Bush, the opposite of what is seen everywhere else in the country where registered Democrats largely voted for Kerry."
In any event, I never did like the idea of Kerry conceding when he did. And I really don't buy the "it was the honorable thing to do" argument. The honorable thing to do would be to make sure that we get the election right. If he hadn't conceded when he did, the Democrats would have had at least 11 days to investigate and perhaps raise issues such as this. Looks like instead they've chosen the honorable role of bending over and taking it from the GOP yet again. Sad.
