Need Some Wuuud?
Sooo very much happened in the AofG world this weekend that I didn't have time to comment on, but President Bush came with one thing that stands head and shoulders above the rest. In response to an accusation made by Kerry that Bush owned a lumber business that made $84 dollars which categorized him as a small business owner, Bush was incredulous and said to Charlie Gibson that he had no idea he owned a lumber company and then asked, "Need Some Wuuud?" Good times.
FactCheck.org remembers for Bush, though. Apparently, a company that Bush owns owns a 50% stake in a timber company that made $84 dollars in 2001. Looks like Kerry was REALLY well prepared for this debate.
In my mind, "Need Some Wuuud?" will go down as my favorite quote of the campaign, much like "Iyam gonna exacudem" was may favorite quote from 2000. Say what you will about Bush. Yeah, he's galactically stupid, yeah he's a puppet of Karl Rove, he he's hated around the globe and in his own country - but the man comes up with some downright hysterical sound bites. If Kerry wins, I am gonna miss his malapropisms.
